Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

1. Overview

The Pride Wall (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and protect it when you use thepridewall.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider. When you sign in via Email Magic Link, we collect only your email address. We store this in our database to identify your account.

Brick Content

The art, message, display name, and external link you submit for your brick unit are stored permanently in our database and displayed publicly on the wall.

Waitlist

If you join our waitlist before launch, we store your email address to notify you when the Service opens.

Usage Data

Vercel (our hosting provider) automatically collects standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We use this only for security and performance monitoring.

3. Payment Data

We do not collect or store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects, stores, and processes your payment information directly under their own privacy policy. We receive only a transaction ID and the amount paid.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Processing

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

4b. Data Processing Agreements

Where required by GDPR, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms for the transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Each of our data processors (Supabase, Paddle, Resend, Vercel) maintains Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission.

Supabase data is stored in AWS ap-northeast-2 (Seoul). Vercel edge functions may process request data in regions globally. Paddle processes payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS requirements. If you have questions about data transfer mechanisms, contact us at support@thepridewall.com.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your authentication session. These are essential for the Service to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

See our full Cookie Policy for details.

6. Data Retention

Account datais retained until you delete your account. To delete your account, go to Dashboard › Settings › Delete Account.

When you delete your account, your personal details (name, email, linked accounts) are permanently removed. However, because brick placements are permanent by design, your brick art remains on the wall. The link URL and message associated with your brick are cleared, and your name is replaced with “Deleted User.” The artwork itself stays in place as part of the monument.

Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or we launch the Service and notify all waitlist subscribers.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy laws, including the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated personal data
  • Object to processing or request restriction
  • Data portability (receive a copy of your data)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@thepridewall.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.
