Terms of Service
Last updated: June 3, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using The Pride Wall at thepridewall.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
2. Description of Service
The Pride Wall is a permanent digital monument consisting of a 944×1,060 grid of bricks (1,000,640 bricks total). Users may purchase rectangular areas of the wall (“units”) and decorate them with art, a message, and a permanent external link. The wall is intended as a public, community artwork celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
3. Accounts
Accounts are created via Google OAuth or Email Magic Link. We do not use passwords. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may not share your account or use another person’s account without permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Purchases and Payments
Brick units are priced based on the number of bricks selected. Pricing is set by us and may change over time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. All purchases are final. See our Purchases & Permanence page.
Paddle.com as Merchant of Record: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Payment methods accepted include credit/debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, as offered by Paddle at checkout.
5. Permanence of Purchases
Brick purchases are permanent. The moment payment is confirmed, your brick goes live on the wall — visible to the world, linked to you, forever. Permanence is not a side effect of your purchase; it is the product itself.
You have a 5-minute window after payment to update your link URL and message. After this window closes, all details are permanently locked. The brick art is locked immediately upon payment and cannot be changed at any time.
Because of this, all purchases are final. Once your brick is live, it cannot be reversed, exchanged, or refunded. See our Purchases & Permanence page for full details.
6. Content Policy
You may not submit content that:
- Constitutes hate speech or targets individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
- Is directed against or demeans LGBTQ+ people or their allies
- Contains sexually explicit material (nudity, pornography)
- Depicts or sexualises minors in any way
- Contains graphic violence or gore
- Promotes terrorism, extremism, or illegal activity
- Infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Constitutes spam, phishing, or malware
- Is defamatory, fraudulent, or harassing
We may remove content that violates this policy without prior notice and without refund. Repeated violations may result in account termination.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain all intellectual property rights in the original art and content you submit. By submitting content, you grant The Pride Wall a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content as part of the wall, in promotional materials, and in social media content related to the Service.
The Pride Wall name, logo, and website design are our intellectual property. You may not use them without written permission.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the paragraph below, any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
EU/EEA and UK users: Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. If such laws apply, they take precedence over the Indian governing law clause to the extent required by your local law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
